TVlink - John Hughes
Friday, August 7th, 2009For those who were young in the ’80’s, film director John Hughes was their Preston Sturgis. His films carried messages that all could relate to easily. Mr Hughes directed such classic motion pictures as The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Planes Trains and Automobiles and Sixteen Candles. Sadly, John Hughes has passed at the young age of 59.
This column is dedicated to my good friend Daniel Wagner, who also passed away yesterday, the same day as John Hughes.
Ferris Bueller said it best, “Life moves pretty fast. You don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
